It is important that the states in West Africa invest for mapping this region and build up a database system to inform the public. The reason is that in the dry season, the land located in this flooding areas will be sold. People will continuing to build house and thereby increase the likelihood for flooding since there is no sewage system in these area. Other problem which could lower the impact of the flooding is the control of solid waste and proper sanitation. I hope that our state will understand the need to invest in these field in the coming years.
