Christian Schuster is an Assistant Professor in Public Management at the University College London. His research focuses on people management in government, and is based on original civil service surveys, elite interviews and experiments with public servants. Previously, he was an Economist with the World Bank, a Visiting Scholar at the Inter-American Development and at Sciences Po, a post-doctoral fellow at the London School of Economics (LSE) and a co-lead of a large-scale DFID-funded research project on civil service management in developing countries.
