Senior Social Development Specialist, Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience (SURR) Global Practice
Dewi Susanti is a Senior Social Development Specialist with the World Bank Indonesia. She supervises the implementation and impact evaluation of KIAT Guru, a pilot project which empower communities in remote villages to hold teachers accountable, and to tie payment of teacher allowance with community monitoring and evaluation. Previously, she was a Lead Research Specialist with the National Team for Acceleration of Poverty Reduction (TNP2K), a think tank under the Office of the Vice President of Indonesia. She holds a Master of Education from Harvard University and a Master of Architecture from University of California at Berkeley.
