Thanks. Good idea. We're working on parts of it - just last week C40 and ICLEI announced a (relatively) simple and consistent way to measure GHG emissions in cities. The World Bank, and many other partners, support the new protocol. Species loss would be a good one too; maybe more difficult to develop though. But cities banning shark fin soup, blue fin tuna, tiger and rhino parts, are already showing leadership in the biodiversity challenge. Kunming, China looks to be one of the first cities to have the city's overall 'urban metabolism' on their website - impressive capabilities and leadership. Cheers. Dan
