To learn about violence go to where violence is on the move

If there is a place to learn about the roots of violence, that has to be Venezuela where over just a couple of decades the homicide rate for each 100.000 citizens went up from less than 10 to over 50. Or is Venezuela not considered a sufficient fragile and conflict affected nation?
