Emanuela Galasso
Senior Economist, The World Bank
Emanuela Galasso is a senior economist in the Poverty and Inequality Unit of the Development Research Group. Her main research is on social protection ,nutrition and early childhood development . Emanuela holds a B.A. in Economics from Bocconi University and a MA and Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College. She is has worked or currently worked on the effectiveness of nutrition programs in Madagascar and Dijbouti, public works programs in Argentina, Malawi and Djibouti, and social protection programs and early childhood development interventions in Chile.
