Our friends at Santa Clara Univiersity would like to invite you to apply for the Global Social Benefit Incubator (GSBI) class of 2011.  The GSBI works with select social entrepreneurs to expand and scale their impact through 4 months of online preparation and an intensive two week in-residence program held in Santa Clara, CA.  This program is funded by a full scholarship, valued at $25,000, provided to all participating organizations.

Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu (pictured) participated at The Smallholders Foundation GSBI '09 and is also DM Winner '09.

Since 2003, 121 social entrepreneurs have attended the GSBI and have found that the program provides immense value to them and their organizations.  More detailed information about the GSBI is attached.

The GSBI application process takes place on www.socialedge.org and consists of three business planning exercises; each applicant is mentored for each exercise by the GSBI staff.  These exercises will be available on SocialEdge.org on December 7, 2010, and you will be able to download and begin the three exercises on that date.  On January, 4, 2011, you will be able to post the exercises on SocialEdge.org and receive online feedback from GSBI staff.

If you have any questions please contact Sherrill Dale, Program Manager at gsbi2011@scu.edu.
