Central Asia DM Grant Competition 2009 Now Open!

The Central Asia Development Marketplace 2009 (CA DM 2009) is a competitive grant program for five countries of Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan). The goal: to identify and fund innovative, early-stage projects with high potential for development impact in the area of Efficient Water Use for Agriculture. Proposals must fall under one of these sub-themes:
•    Rainfed agriculture
•    Irrigated agriculture
•    River basin management

Proposals must be submitted before April 10, 2009 by 6pm (local time in Almaty, Astana, Ashgabat, Bishkek, Dushanbe or Tashkent) by electronic mail to cadm2009@worldbank.org.
