Past Grant Winner Flo Cassassuce Shares Her Experience

Florence Cassassuce, who won a DM2006 grant ($170,310) for her UV buckets to disinfect water in rural Mexico, shared her on-the-ground experiences during this morning's opening ceremonies.

"Working with the [Mexican] government was key," Cassassuce, a French national engineer, told finalists and event visitors gathered in the Atrium of the World Bank's Main Complex in Washington.

Cassassuce is one of the expert jurors who will choose the 20 or so winners from the 100 DM2008 finalists.
