I hope you are well, In February 2010 it will be the tenth anniversary of Roundabout Outdoor's win at the first ever public Development Marketplace competition, we have grown from 24 PlayPumps in South Africa in 2000 to 1350 today in six countries serving over 2.5 million people, have our own factory with the capacity to produce 200 PlayPumps a month and are looking to franchise the model in to another 5 countries in Africa and anywhere in the world where there is a need.
In the true spirit of the DM, Roundabout has grown to scale from the $165k award in 2000 to well over $10million to date.
We are aware that our capacity will not cover the needs of the world and are therefore open to partnerships from all quarters in order to make a bigger difference
