Vikram Nehru
Vikram Nehru is Chief Economist and the Director of the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management and Private and Financial Sector Department for the East Asia and Pacific Region of the World Bank. He was formerly the Director of the World Bank’s Economic Policy and Debt Department, which covers macroeconomic and debt issues in developing countries. Vikram has worked on a variety of countries and on a range of economic issues, including economic growth, financial sector policy, and the implications of global trends and developments on the economic prospects of developing countries.
