Xiaoli Wan works in the World Bank Beijing Office as an economist since September 2010, focusing on macroeconomic developments of Chinese economy. She is the principal writer of the Bank’s China Monthly Update report. Before joining the Bank in summer 2010, she worked in the Southwest Jiaotong University as an associate professor, and also worked in Beyond Bond Corp. (New York, NY) as an analyst in 2008. Xiaoli holds a Ph.D. in economics from China Center for Economic Research (CCER), Peking University, China.
