Alexander Ferguson is the Senior Manager for External Communication in the South Asia Region of the World Bank. He leads a diverse team across eight countries in the region including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Previously he worked for the World Bank President as Communications Adviser, Deputy Chief of Staff and Acting Chief of Staff. Before joining the World Bank, he worked for Reuters in Europe, the Middle East and North America. His last job at Reuters was News Editor Washington, managing close to 60 reporters and editors in one of the company’s most busy bureaus.
