Daniela Marotta is Country Economist for Tunisia, in the Middle East and North Africa Region of the World Bank. Since joining the World Bank in 2006, she has been working on poverty and inclusion analysis, issues related to international trade and foreign direct investment, firm productivity and innovation. Prior to her current position, Daniela has worked for the British Government as Economic Advisor in the GES (Government Economic Services) team, as business consultant at Andersen consulting group and in academia (at the Centro d'Agliano Research Center and Bocconi University in Milan). Daniela has a PhD in economics from the University of Pavia in Italy, a MSc from University College of London and a undergraduate degree from Bocconi University, Milan.
