Ana Coyne Alonso
Ana Coyne Alonso is a digital strategist and writer/director/producer working at the crossroads of cause-related branding, advocacy, social media and advertising. She is currently a communications consultant for Identification for Development (ID4D), a global, multi-sectoral initiative of the World Bank Group.

Previously, Ana worked as a commercial director and filmmaker; she produced 27 films and videos that aired on television in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Her work has been purchased and/or screened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and Deutsches Filmmuseum+ in Frankfurt. Ana has received grants from Soros Documentary Fund, New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Hamburg FilmFund+ and has been awarded the Princess Grace Emerging Artist and Kodak awards, among others.
Ana has also directed multimedia for UNICEF campaigns to help facilitate policy changes on social and public health issues such as water, landmine eradication, and sexual exploitation of children+.
Ana earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College, a Master in Science from Columbia University’s School of Journalism, and a Master in Fine Arts from the University of California, San Diego. Ana is based in Washington DC.
