Thanks Jacques for this information. In any natural resource, getting an informed citizenry is crucial for transparency and accountability. But building their capacity to 'follow the money' is more critical.
The pertinent question is how does Tanzania fully harness the opportunities from this natural gas windfall? How can the government get an equitable share? How could revenues be used it improve the lives of Tanzanians? The questions go on.
