Corruption is a tetraheaded monster. It scours governments of the world rendering them with scars that will never find a cure. Corruption is a cancer. It needs all mannerisms of weaponry to wrestle the vice. Across the world and in sub-Saharan Africa, livelihoods are a catastrophe because of corruption. Mothers die because in labour because they want to give birth to a life, children lack an education and people die younger as a consequence of corruption. Curable diseases have proved problematic. Access to water, energy and other infrastructural facilities remains a dream because of corruption. People have more than they need. The sum total of what has been stolen can go a long way in turning up the already deplorable situation and resuscitate hope to may hopeless lives.
