Wow! A very resourceful research and information. Over time, while we were hosting blood donation donation drives across campuses in Nigeria, we have come to take incentives as little as a handband very seriously. Infact, this little responses have been included during seminars/workshops conducted for our new members and detachment. It is included in our psychology of blood donation part. Studying the psychology of blood donation, we have come to realize that incentives play a very great part in the retention of blood donors (Retention being a big challenge facing voluntary blood donation practice).
This will cause better policies to be drawn. Hence, leading to increased commitment to blood donation, especially in developing and poor countries. More lives will be saved.
Great work guys.
