Good afternoon Ms. Messier,
I have just completed a two-year volunteer position in rural, western Honduras; and am currently writing a masters thesis regarding food security initiatives in the country. Could you please share with me your source that found, "Honduras is facing high level of chronic malnutrition. In some of the poorest Honduran communities, almost 1 out of 2 children are too short for their age," and "chronic malnutrition in Honduras is even higher than in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere."?
Although my experience in Honduras certainly supports the wide spread tragedy of "hidden hunger" among children, I have been to the World Bank and FAO and haven't seen statistics that reflect Honduras being in worse shape than Haiti.
