Dubai - Migrant Worker's Worst Nightmare
According to several reports in New York Times, Dubai's treatment of migrant workers is Human Rights abuse in its worst form. The construction workers toil long hours and are paid a pittance( about 150- 200$/month). They live in squalid barracks and have little freedom to move about - their documents are usually confiscated by their employers.
This is just modern day slavery.
