Jamus Lim

Jamus Lim is currently an economist at the World Bank. He was educated at the University of California, the London School of Economics, and the University of Southern Queensland, where he obtained his doctorate, masters, and honors degrees, respectively. He has also had stints in academia (Centre College), the think tank circuit (the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies), and investment banking (the former J.P. Morgan). Jamus' areas of research expertise (and interest) lie primarily at the intersection of international economics and political economy, although his short attention span has also led him to work on areas of international development, comparative political economy, and information and communications technology. He has published more than a dozen academic articles in both refereed journals and conference volumes, together with a host of op-ed articles for the general public. When not holed up in the office, Jamus can often be found in the gym, behind the drums, or in the cellar (in reverse order).
