Hi Joel. Ah,yes, legacies. That's why in my mind that next-generation bank that mounts a serious attempt to bank the poor will be a start-up. It will not be encumbered by legacies in terms of systems and processes, but also in that being new it will not be have as many options to make easy money as established banks do (funding another road, backing another large mining scheme). Disruptors are always new players.
