Visiting Research Scholar at the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University and Research Associate with Freie Universität Berlin

Kristina Klinkforth is a visiting research scholar at the School of Media and Public Affairs at George Washington University and a research associate with Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focuses on NGOs as agenda-setters and new agenda dynamics in global politics. Kristina studied Political Science and International Relations in Hamburg, Berlin, and Galway, Ireland. Her professional experience includes project management in various national and international contexts, as well as in e-learning environments. During her studies, she worked at the Federal Foreign Office as well as at the United Nations Headquarters, New York. At Freie Universität Berlin, she coordinates the development of the distance learning M.A. Program “International Relations Online“ and was responsible for coordinating the Global Politics Summer School Syria 2007 in cooperation with the Arab International University in Damascus, Syria.
