Aarthi leads global outreach and strategic communications for the World Bank's Urban Development, Resilience and Land work and is the focal point for stakeholder engagement in sustainable development. Previously, she managed outreach for the Bank's engagement in Energy and Extractive Industries. Aarthi comes to the Bank from Reuters, where she was a reporter in the United States covering business and financial news. She holds an M.A. in journalism from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from India.
