Abdoulaye Sy

Economist
Abdoulaye Sy is an Economist in the Macro and Fiscal Management Global Practice at the World Bank and currently works in the Middle East and North Africa region where he is the country economist for the Republic of Iran and Djibouti. Abdoulaye joined the World Bank in September 2011 as a Young Professional first as an Economist in the Sustainable Development Department in the Latin America and Caribbean region and later joined the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management unit in the Middle East and North Africa region. Abdoulaye has a PhD in agricultural and resource economics from the University of California Berkeley and holds Masters degrees in Science and Economics from the Ecole Polytechnique, the Paris School of Economics, PSE and the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique, ENSAE.
