Anna Okola

Transport Engineer

Anna Okola is a Transport Engineer for the Latin America & Caribbean Region at the World Bank and has worked on rural, inter-urban and urban transport projects, most recently leading efforts on urban road infrastructure projects as well as policy dialogue on walking, cycling, and safety in Ecuador. Prior to joining the Bank as a Young Professional, Anna worked as a Traffic Safety Engineer, Transport Planner, Transport Researcher, and Construction Project Assistant Engineer, and holds master’s degrees in Transport Engineering and Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.
