Bingjie Hu is currently working as a consultant economist at the Office of the Chief Economist, South Asia Region, World Bank. Bingjie’s research focuses on governance issues and the quality of institutions. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked as an economist at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria in Hong Kong, and UNICEF in New York. Bingjie holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, and a M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics.
