Christophe Dossarps

Chief Executive Officer of the Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation

A graduate from John Molson School of Business at Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec, M. Dossarps began his career working as a project coordinator in a Canadian aerospace firm.  During his tenor at this firm, he also worked in mobilizing grants and investments for sustainable small-scale development projects in support of a local NGO.  He helped raised funds from the Government of Quebec, multinational companies, international organizations and public institutions to create small-scale development funds for Quebec based students, totalling $2 million.

In 2009, Christophe was asked to join the UNDP in Geneva and head up Business Development for the R20 initiative of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.  His work with R20 brought him in contact with the Urban sector team at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and one of the areas for collaboration was to collaborate on helping deliver better-prepared urban infrastructure projects.  He subsequently joined ADB in 2010 as a consultant to help ADB further develop the National Infrastructure Information System (NIIS), which is the predecessor of the International Infrastructure Support System (IISS).

In 2014, Christophe Dossarps was hired as the Chief Executive Officer of the Sustainable Infrastructure Foundation (IISS’ Executing Agency) where he leads SIF's efforts in collaboration with many different stakeholders to help implement the roll-out of IISS. Multilateral development banks, development financing institutions, international organizations, companies and long-term investors are all coming together to support IISS on a global and sustainable basis.
