Eduardo Velez Bustillo

Eduardo Vélez Bustillo is an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and an international expert on education policy. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Illinois, is an Independent Consultant with 37 years of international experience in the education sector. He worked at the World Bank as Principal Education Specialist for Southern and Eastern Africa; Education Cluster leader for Uganda and Tanzania; Human Development Sector Leader for China; and Education Sector Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, and for East Asia and the Pacific.
