Fabian Seiderer

Senior Public Sector Management Specialist
Fabian Seiderer is a senior public sector management specialist with the World Bank, where he is working at the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management department within the Middle East and North Africa region, primarily on governance and public sector reforms in Morocco, Tunisia and Lebanon. He is notably managing a multi-donor development policy loan and technical assistance program supporting the post Arab Spring transition in Morocco, as well as the open governance reforms in Tunisia, where he lived before moving to Washington, DC. His work in the region focuses primarily on public financial management reforms, open governance and fiscal decentralization. Prior to joining the Bank in 2010, Fabian worked for the European Commission as macro-economist and trade adviser, notably in Brussels and in the field (Tunisia, the Philippines, and the Ivory Coast). He holds a master degree in European integration from the University of Bonn / ZEI in Germany as well as a master degree on development economics from the University of Nanterre, France. He graduated in economics and finance at the Sorbonne University in France. A German national, he grew up in France and is the father of two children.
