Mr. Fadel Ndaw, a Water & Sanitation Engineer, is best known for his role as the coordinator in Senegal of the urban water sector reform and the water Millennium Development Goals program (PEPAM), which he managed for over 15 years (1996-2011). He then joined the African Water Association of Utilities as coordinator of the Water Operators Partnership (WOP) Africa, a program based in Johannesburg.

Fadel joined the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) in Africa in July 2012 as a Senior Regional Water and Sanitation Specialist based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, and is coordinating WSP Africa's work on improving access to water supply services in rural areas and small towns with a particular emphasis on the Domestic Private Sector Participation. He has recently completed a WSP study examining the impact of the use of ICTs in the management of water and sanitation sector in African countries.
