Gabriel Stefanini Vicente serves as the Lead Data Scientist for the Development Data Partnership at the World Bank, spearheading initiatives to identify, access, and leverage alternative data for global development projects. As the community lead on GitHub, Gabriel plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration within the community, contributing to an environment of innovation and knowledge exchange. Prior to joining the World Bank, he honed his skills in the private sector, where he conceptualized and implemented industry solutions. Leveraging his expertise in mathematical modeling and optimization, data engineering, statistical analysis, computational linguistics, operations research and machine learning, Gabriel drove operational enhancements and refined business strategies.
