Georg Neumann is the Senior Communications Manager at the Open Contracting Partnership. Prior to joining the Open Contracting Partnership, he led the Digital Strategy of the Multilateral Investment Fund, member of the Inter-American Development Bank, and has co-initiated the portfolio on social innovation. He learned his transparency ropes at Transparency International, opening the organization’s first social media profiles and blog, relaunching its website, and coordinating the global movement’s internal communication. Georg also initiated Transparency International’s social accountability initiative on technology and anticorruption. He spent two years doing social work in Tijuana, Mexico, participated in a Cross-Culture Professional Exchange Program with Morocco, and has earned a Masters in Communications from the University of Fine Arts in Berlin.
