Håvard Halland is an Economist with the Governance and Public Sector Management Unit at the World Bank. Since joining the World Bank in 2012, he has been leading several research and policy agendas in the field of natural resource economics and resource-backed finance. Born in Norway, Mr. Halland holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and a M.Sc. in Development Economics from the University of London (SOAS). Previously, he was a Delegate and Program Manager for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in DRC and Colombia.
