Hyunji Lee is an urban specialist consultant at the World Bank based in Washington, DC. She is currently contributing to urban upgrading lending projects in South Asia, and analytical works on public space with the Urbanscapes Group. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked at the United Nations negotiating and analyzing international agendas including the New Urban Agenda and SDG indicators in New York. She also published policy reports at the OECD on national urban policies and compact urban developments in Paris. Hyunji holds a Master of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University, and a Master in Civil Engineering and Urban Planning from Seoul National University with field planning experience in Vietnam.
