Ibrahim is a Public Sector Specialist, currently based in Madagascar. Having joined the Bank in 2013, he has been involved in designing and implementing a range of governance initiatives in the areas of public financial management, public administration reform, and decentralization. He has worked in different countries including Algeria, Comoros, Egypt, Haiti, Iraq, Jamaica, KSA, Morocco, and Tunisia. He is the co-author of the book “Civil Servants and Globalization: Integrating MENA Countries in a Globalized Economy”. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut and Master’s degrees in Economics and Public Administration from Syracuse University.
