Jose Daniel Reyes

Senior Economist
Jose Daniel Reyes is a Senior Economist at the Macroeconomics, Trade, and Investment Global Practice of The World Bank Group. He has more than 10 years of research and professional experience, working on issues of international trade, foreign direct investment, and globalization. His recent policy work focuses on firm-level responses to regulatory reforms aimed at improving the investment climate in developing countries. Daniel has experience leading policy dialogue in Latin-America, Africa, and Asia. Prior to joining The World Bank Group, he worked for the Inter-American Development Bank and for the Colombian government conducting macro monitoring in Latin-American countries. Daniel holds a PhD in Economics from Georgetown University, where he received an award for the best dissertation in Economics.
