Karin Shepardson

Karin Shepardson is a program manager in the World Bank’s Climate Cross Cutting Solutions Area. She is currently responsible for leading a team coordinating the World Bank Group’s engagement with the Montreal Protocol and the Global Environment Facility. The Bank’s corporate engagement on the global environment issues includes promoting the integration of cross cutting issues such as climate change across the World Bank’s wider development programs. Karin has held various positions in the World Bank since 1994 including operational positions in East Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe and Central Asia on a wide range of sustainable development investment programs. She has worked both from Washington DC and from a country office to lead Bank operations, coordinate the country program, and to help integrate concessional finance in investments.
