Keren Charles is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist at the World Bank Group and focuses on developing strategies and implementing projects aimed at enhancing countries’ resilience to natural disasters and the impacts of climate change. Keren has also provided strategic and operational guidance to a municipal development project. Keren has a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University with a Bachelors in Insurance – Actuarial Science.
