Luisa M. Mimmi is a Data & Policy Analyst, currently working as a consultant at the World Bank. She has extensive hands-on experience in the design of Monitoring and Evaluation systems (M&E) for development. Her research focuses on how to improve access to infrastructure services for poor families in both rural and urban settings, especially in slums. Through empirical work, she has studied the design and effectiveness of various innovative solutions (results-based financing, pre-paid metering, community-driven approaches, etc.) to address the unmet demand for basic housing and infrastructure services.
