Margaret Grosh is the Lead Economist for Human Development in the Latin American and Caribbean Region and co- leader for the Safety Nets Global Expert Team. Margaret was team leader and co-author of (Grosh, del Ninno, Tesliuc and Ouerghi) For Protection and Promotion: The Design and Implementation of Effective Safety Nets (2008); and contributing author to the World Bank's major policy research report that reviews the lessons from the experience of conditional cash transfer programs, Conditional Cash Transfers: Reducing Present and Future Poverty (Fiszbein and Schady, 2009). She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Cornell.

Margaret Grosh es la economista jefe de la sección de Desarrollo Humano del Banco Mundial para América Latina y el Caribe. También co-lidera el equipo de expertos globales en redes de protección social. Margaret fue la líder del equipo y coautora (Grosh, del Ninno, Tesliuc and Ouerghi) de For Protection and Promotion: The Design and Implementation of Effective Safety Nets (2008); y contribuyó a la investigación del informe de políticas públicas del Banco Mundial, que revisa las las lecciones de los programas de transferencia condicional de flujos: Conditional Cash Transfers: Reducing Present and Future Poverty (Fiszbein and Schady, 2009).
