Maria Monica Wihardja
Maria Monica Wihardja is a Poverty Specialist for World Bank’s Poverty program in Indonesia. She has made major contributions on several evidence-based and policy analysis on poverty reduction, among others on The Labor Market and Trade-Supporting Jobs in Myanmar, July 2015 and Facing the Connectivity Challenge: Freight Logistics as a Key Development Priority for Indonesia in “Improving National Freight Logistics. Plan of Action” Report, May 2015. She has been invited as guest lecturer at the University of Indonesia and Providence College in the U.S. Wihardja completed his PhD in Regional Science at Cornell University and obtained her Master in Philosophy in Economics at University of Cambridge in the U.K. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the Brown University in the U.S.
