Marko Karadzic

Social Development Consultant
Marko Karadzic is a social development consultant with the Governance and Social, Urban and Resilience Global Practices. He is a Former State Secretary for Human and Minority Rights of the Republic of Serbia and National Focal Point on Children’s Rights and Elimination of Violence. He has lived in Serbia, the Netherlands, South Africa and the U.S. and has over 15 years of experience working on human and minority rights, good governance and citizen participation, social inclusion and poverty reduction, and refugees, IDPs, gender and LGBTI issues.

Marko earned an LL.M in International Human Rights Law and a Master’s degree in International Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 2005 and 2014, respectively. In 2012 MATE Magazine named him one of the 500 most influential gay people ever.
