Marta Riveira Cazorla

Marta Riveira is a Spanish national currently working in the Governance Global Practice as an Extended Term Consultant (ETC), working on a variety of in public sector areas, including state-owned enterprises issues, in Latin America and the Caribbean. In her previous position at the WB she was a Junior Professional Associate (JPA) at the former Economic Policy Group for the Latin America and Caribbean Region in the Poverty Reduction and Economic Management (PREM) Network, working mainly in macroeconomic and fiscal issues, particularly in the English Speaking Caribbean countries. Before that she joined the joint WB-IFC Investment Climate Department for an internship, where she worked on business environment, trade logistics, business regulation, secured lending and collateral registries. Prior to joining the Bank she worked in trade in Morocco and Spain and both for the public and the private sector. She has a Master's degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.
