Consultant, Education and Skills
May is a Consultant for Education in the Middle East and North Africa region and the Skills Global Solutions Group at the World Bank. Prior to this position she was a Consultant in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice in East Asia and the Pacific. In this role, May supported the East Asia regional skills agenda, and served as one of the main team members of the Promoting Skills and Job Creation in East Asia program. May joined the Bank in 2009, when she began working in Latin America and the Caribbean's Education General Practice. May has worked on lending operations and analytical work in socio-emotional skills development, EdTech, early childhood development, 21st century curriculum reform and teacher quality. Drawing on her broad-based expertise in human capital development, May was a key contributing author and editor of MENA's forthcoming Flagship Report on Education. May holds a Masters in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in History from Brown University.
