Michael Boampong is the founder of NGO Young People We Care (YPWC) where he serves as Board Member and Adviser. He has over four years experience in youth development and advocacy on migration, climate change and the Millennium Development Goals. He is pursuing a masters degree in Development Studies at Uppsala University. He is an ardent believer in youth empowerment and believes that if the youth are not empowered now, the world will not realize any meaningful development. He is passionate about social entrepreneurship, youth development, imagination, and making a difference. Michael has managed various youth and migration projects for international organizations such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and UNICEF Rural Voices of Youth.
