Oliver Harman is a Cities Economist for the International Growth Centre (IGC) based at the Blavatnik School of Government in Oxford. He is working on the IGC’s Cities that Work initiative, developing a network of economists, urban planning practitioners and policymakers to translate economic research into clear urban policy guidance.

His current research areas include municipal finance, city resilience to climate change, urban land use, as well as the relationship between inequality and local economic development. Cities that Work is on twitter @IGC_CtW
