Phillip Hay is Communication Adviser for the World Bank’s Development Economics team (DEC). A former BBC Special Correspondent and US Correspondent for the British Broadcasting Corporation, Phil is an accomplished blogger and frequent chair and moderator of global development conferences. Prior to joining the Bank, he was very active as a writer and commentator on international relations, especially the links between disarmament and development.
