Phuong Hoang Ai Nguyen is a Senior Environmental Specialist based in the World Bank Hanoi office, Vietnam. She is currently leading operations and analytical works on enhancing climate resilience and adaptive and sustainable management of large landscapes, with a focus on the Vietnamese Mekong Delta. Prior to joining the Bank, Phuong worked in the UK, the EU and the Southeast Asia region as a professional/researcher on climate change and environmental sustainability. She holds a PhD in Sustainability from the University of Gloucestershire (UK), MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge (UK) and a Bachelor in Environmental Engineering from the Hanoi University of Technology (Vietnam).
