Prateek Samal works on the Debt Statistics team in the Development Data Group at the World Bank. He works with ministries of Finance and central banks around the world to collect and analyze debt data for the International Debt Statistics (IDS), Quarterly External Debt Statistics (QEDS) and Quarterly Public Sector Debt (QPSD) publications. An economist by training, Prateek previously worked at the International Monetary Fund. He holds a master’s degree from Brown University.
